Baltimore: Bloody Mary “Snake” Bites

Baltimore, if your city was a pizza, it would have to be unique, flavorful, and easy to eat with a National Bohemian. That’s why we made a flatbread pizza recipe just for you, using fresh crabmeat, Old Bay, and hot sauce, and made them into little bites that go down super easy. These spicy little numbers use a local Snake Oil hot sauce, but if you’re partial to one kind or another, use that. You can make as many as you can with the crab you have, just bake up extra flatbread just in case, hon!

These tasty little flatbread snacks won’t hurt a bit to make or to eat. The beautiful city of Baltimore was our inspiration for these crabby flatbreads. Your next party appetizer has arrived. Get the recipe and more here:

Baltimore: Bloody Mary “Snake” Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 Flatout Flatbread Artisan Thin Crust
  • Olive oil spray
  • Old Bay seasoning
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 8 ounces cocktail sauce
  • 3/4 pound lump crab
  • 1/3 cup celery leaves
  • Snake Oil hot sauce (or your favorite brand)

Directions

Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray flatbread with olive oil spray and sprinkle with Old Bay seasoning. Cut into chip sized pieces.
Bake at 375° for 5 minutes. Remove flatbread chips from oven and allow to cool.
In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, cocktail sauce and crabmeat.
Then, arrange chips on platter, spoon dip onto chips, and top with celery leaves. Drizzle with Snake Oil or other hot sauce.
